Val talking to volunteers

Hear and Now currently has over 40 volunteers involved in the production of the weekly recorded newspaper.

They come from all walks of life and give their time freely to the organisation.

Volunteers work in teams with their own editor, team leader, producer and readers. At least two members of the team are responsible for the copying and dispatch of the recorded memory sticks which go to our listeners.

We record at our custom built studio in the centre of the Devon seaside town of Dawlish.

A specialist team works on the production of our monthly recorded magazine Roundabout.

Hear and Now welcomes applications from anyone in our local area who would like to be involved as a reader or in any other of the production and admin roles. Please contact the team here.
